Alley area solution

Here’s a practical featured project! Bumble Bee Landscaping has a reputation for unique solutions to common problems. One that has come up a few times is how to create an area for garbage and recycling bins. This Lowry Hill East neighbor asked for a new area to corral trash receptacles so Paul installed this nook using some left-over vintage red bricks laid in a basketweave pattern.

Front garden refresh

We recently designed and installed a new front yard makeover for a repeat customer in the Morris Park neighborhood of Minneapolis. This Craftsman style house got a boost to their curb appeal with redesigned planting borders with small retaining wall along the fence line. We also installed a useful flagstone path to link the driveway to the front entrance. Last up, we planted a new crabapple tree to replace one that was dying. All in all, a great update and another happy customer!

Vintage gate solution

Check out this unusual project! A repeat customer had Bumble Bee Landscaping back to solve a unique challenge in their Wedge home: how to integrate some unique vintage finds into their back yard design. Paul designed and built custom fencing to attach to two beautiful vintage iron gates. He also built custom frames for five unique metal trellises for climbing plantings that form a beautiful green privacy fence. We enjoy solving creative challenges like this - contact us if you have some ideas!

Excavation challenges

Excavation for a new patio installation is often a challenge, but Paul found a creative way to slide the excess dirt into the dump truck at this project in Linden Hills in Minneapolis just across from Lake Harriet.
